I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
Thursday 30th JanI joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2025.
I'm fundraising in memory of a close family friend, Bobby Morrin, who sadly passed away on 23rd October 2024. He was taken from his family and friends far too soon and it's still a shock to believe he's no longer with us. An absolute gentleman who had time for everyone, Bobby truly was one of the lads. Hopefully I can raise as much money as possible for such a great charity in his memory.
There are 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes. Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
