I'm taking part in the Spin for Stroke challenge!
I joined #TeamStroke in the Spin for Stroke Challenge.
Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Sunday 17th SepStart as you mean to go on. I cycle therefore I am.
Friday 1st Sep Mum suffered a stroke in 2009 and made an amazing recovery, going straight back to pilates on the day she got out of hospital. Mum suffered a second stroke in July 2023 and has been in Sunderland Royal Hospital since then. She is battling with a range of challenges including sight loss and mobility issues. Despite everything that she has gone through, she still has a wonderful sense of humour and is very reflective. When I visit her in the Acute Stroke Unit, I have been cycling to the hospital and back. I will cycle 100 miles in September to raise money for the Stroke Association #TeamStroke ShareThank you to my sponsors
