I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
In 2024, our world changed when my dad suffered a stroke. Watching him fight through recovery showed me what real strength looks like — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
In 2025, my sister ran the London Marathon in his honour. Seeing her cross that finish line was incredibly emotional and inspired me to take on the challenge myself.
So in 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon for my dad and for every family affected by stroke.
It hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve had my own setback with an injury that forced me to pause and reset. But I’m now back training, stronger and more determined than ever. If Dad’s recovery has taught me anything, it’s that progress isn’t always linear — but resilience matters.
I’m fundraising to support stroke recovery and research, to help give other families the care and hope we’ve been so grateful for.
