I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2026 as part of #TeamStroke
In September, I'll be taking on the Great North Run, not just for the challenge, but in loving memory of my grandma, who we sadly and unexpectedly lost to a stroke in 2024. She was an incredible woman, and her memory is always with me.
Over the past 2, I've really discovered a deep love for running. It started as a way to challenge myself, but it’s become so much more – a time for reflection, a way to clear my head, and a space where I often feel closest to my grandma. With every mile I train and every step I take on race day, I'll be thinking of her and her strength.
I’m running to raise vital funds for the Stroke Association, a charity that does amazing work supporting individuals and families affected by stroke. Your support would mean the world to me and help make a real difference in their efforts. Thank you for helping me honor my grandma's memory in this special way.
