Brighton Marathon 2025

I'm taking part in the Brighton Marathon as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the Brighton Marathon 2025.

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

What have I done!!

Saturday 14th Sep
I’ll be honest I’m not sure what possessed me to think I can run a marathon..but here I am trying to convince my friends and family to sponsor me in this madness!
Around 15-16 years ago my beautiful Nan had a stroke and sadly died two years later. This year I lost my amazing, adorable dad after he had suffered several strokes and never recovered. Both I miss every single day and wish they were both still with me.
I now feel I want to do something to help other people and raise awareness as well as funds for people/families suffering.

Thank you to my sponsors
