I'm taking part in the Spin for Stroke challenge!
Hi all,
As most of you know, in December 2021 I suffered a Hemorrhagic stroke that saw me with less than 10% chance of survival.
With the exceptional help of the NHS, family, friends and the Stroke Association, my recovery was exceptional, and today I can lead a normal life doing the things I love.
I am still suffering with pretty strong fatigue, but the rest of my affected parts (lack of use of right hand side including arm and leg, inability to speak) are back to normal and working.
I would like to use this opportunity to join #SpinForStroke to help raise funds for the Stroke Association, to allow them to help more survivors like me. If you can spare it, any donations will really help.

Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
