I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
Wednesday 18th SepThere are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
I have chosen to take part in the Great North Run for stroke association on Sunday 7th September 2025.
As many of you know, my dad had a stroke around 2 years ago and charities such as this one are a massive help making life as normal as it can be after suffering a stroke. This half marathon for me symbolises the hard work and determination it takes to get back on your feet and regain normality. It’s unimaginable how difficult it must be.
I have a target of £350 to raise before the run. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will be contributing to a good cause.
