I joined #TeamStroke for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

In memory of Nanny Linda
Monday 8th JunThis year on October 11th, I’ll be running a Half Marathon in memory of my wonderful Nan while raising money for the Stroke Association.
Losing someone you love to a stroke is something that will stay with me forever, and I wanted to take on this challenge in her honour. Every mile I run will be for her memory and for all the families affected by stroke.
The Stroke Association provides vital support, research, and care to stroke survivors and their loved ones, helping people rebuild their lives after stroke.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much and will help support the incredible work they do.
