Running the Royal Parks Half in Loving Memory of Alison Costello - as part of #TeamStroke

This October, I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on behalf of the Stroke Association and in honour of my wonderful mother, Alison Costello.

We sadly lost Ali on the 13th November 2024 at the age of 60, after a very short battle with cancer which also led to a number of debilitating strokes over the course of six months.

Our family wants to ensure that others facing a similar journey receive the same exceptional care, support, and kindness shown to us and our Ali.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening each year. The Stroke Association is an incredible charity working tirelessly to ensure individuals and families affected by stroke get the very best care.

Any donations made for the charity and in honour of our ray of sunshine, are greatly appreciated.
