I'm taking part in the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon with #TeamStroke
Next year I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for The Stroke Association.
A close friend recently suffered a stroke completely out of the blue, which came as a huge shock and was incredibly upsetting for everyone around her. Thankfully, she has shown a lot of strength and positivity throughout her recovery, and we’re all very proud of how she’s handled it.
I’m running the marathon to support her recovery, raise awareness of the impact a stroke can have, and help The Stroke Association continue supporting others affected by stroke.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for your support.
Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.
By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
Every donation helps someone find strength through support at a time they need it most. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.
