I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2025.
After suffering a stroke in 2019 at the age of 18 my life was turned upside down in a second. Going from a young active teenager who was training to become a professional dancer to being bed bound unable to walk, talk or do anything for myself. I knew I was in for the toughest journey of my entire life.
Luckily, thanks to the quick response of the ambulance and surgeons at Kings College Hospital I am sat here writing this for you today as a 24 year old who still loves to dance and definitely talks.. a lot.
I set myself a range of goals when I first fell ill, the basics, like being able to walk unaided, able to feed myself, talk to my family and get back to being me. As a young girl I had always said that running the London Marathon was a goal of mine, way off in the future, well, now that's happening and I could not be more excited.
Please help me, along with thousands of others, to raise money for the Stroke Association so people like myself can get the chance at life they deserve.
I will be running the London Marathon on the 27th of April with TeamStroke, that's 26.2 miles! This is going to be the second hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life but I'm rearing to go, training plan at the ready. Bring it on!
