Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke

In the UK, someone has a stroke every five minutes. For many, that moment can change a life forever. 

For my mum, that moment came in 1998. Since then, she has faced many challenges but has continued to inspire us with her incredible strength and resilience and shows up for those around her with a smile on her face. 

On 11 October 2026, I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the Stroke Association, raising money in honour of her and to support individuals and families facing the challenges that a stroke can bring. 

Every donation, big or small, will help support people whose lives have been impacted , helping to ensure that more families receive the advice, care and support they need throughout their journey.
