I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke
Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
Every donation helps someone find strength through support at a time they need it most. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.

Running the London Marathon for Dad ❤️
Wednesday 14th OctThis April I will be attempting to run the London marathon to raise money for the stroke association.
A few years ago my dad suffered from a stroke which has had a massive impact, most importantly on him, but also on everyone around him. This life-changing event was something that none of us ever expected to happen and I personally still struggle to accept and understand it to this day.
This event has really put everything into perspective for me and, although we can’t change the past, I want to try and raise money and awareness to make a difference where I can.
The stroke association is an incredible charity that helps to support individuals and families that have been affected by strokes and seeing their work first hand has really motivated me to try to raise money for this great cause.
Last year me and my family ran the Cardiff half marathon, raising money for the stroke association but this year I want to go one step (or 21 more km!) further and continue to raise money for this great charity. Running the marathon will be a big challenge for me as I want to push myself to run a quick and competitive time.
Any donations would be really appreciated and would help fund the amazing research and support the charity offers.
Keep an eye on my Strava!
Peace and love
Max
Love you dad ❤️
