TCS London Marathon 2027

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.

By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.

Every donation helps someone find strength through support at a time they need it most. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.

Why I'm Running the London Marathon 2027

Friday 10th Jul

In 2027, I'll be taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in support of stroke awareness and recovery—a cause that is incredibly close to me & my Wife's family's heart.

Mark my wife's little brother, suffered a devastating stroke at just 18 years old. After fighting for a year in hospital, he sadly passed away. His loss was unimaginable and left a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him. No family ever expects to face something like that, especially with someone so young.

Since then, our family has proudly organised and taken part in numerous fundraising events under the name Team Mark, keeping his memory alive while supporting others affected by stroke.

Running 26.2 miles will be one of the biggest physical and mental challenges I've ever faced. But however tough those miles become, they won't come close to the pain, heartbreak, and lifelong challenges that stroke survivors and their families experience every single day.

That's why I'm running.

If, through this journey, I can help raise money to support vital research, improve care for stroke survivors, help families during their most difficult times, or even encourage just one person to recognise the signs of a stroke early enough to save a life, then every mile, every training run, and every blister will have been worth it.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Together, we can help raise awareness of the signs of stroke, improve access to life-changing support and aftercare, and give hope to families facing the same heartbreaking journey that ours did.

Thank you for supporting me, supporting Team Mark, and helping us continue Mark's legacy by making a positive difference for others.
