I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

I am running the London Marathon in 2027 for a charity that is personal to me after having my fall in March this year, I also found out that I had had a stroke in the past unbeknown to me at that time. 
The stroke association carries out research and investigations to help people like me improve outcomes. Unfortunately this was too late for my mom and sister-in-law who both suffered catastrophic strokes in their lifetimes. Mom was seriously ill for many years before passing and my sister-in-law Linda unfortunately passed as a result of her stroke.
I want to raise as much money as possible to help the stroke association support others to have better outcomes and need your help through supporting my challenge.

Any amount is very welcome, I know how much times are hard for everyone.

It is a great honour to run in the London Marathon for this charity and I will put all my energies into training and ENJOYING the experience.

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible. 
 
By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
