I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2025.

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

I’m running in the Great North Run this year to raise funds for the Stroke Association. This is a charity that is having a huge impact in research into prevention and post care of strokes and in supporting those that have had a stroke and their families. In 2010 my Dad had a stroke and luckily for us he has made a full recovery. The Stroke Association relies on the generosity of donors to pay for this research so every penny counts. Please give what you can to this amazing charity.
