I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2026 as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2026.

In July of 2023 my father suffered a stroke and it was a massive shock to my family. After weeks of physiotherapy and rehabilitation he was able to come home and now it feels as if it never even happened. However he has told me that if it weren’t for our support, it would have made his recovery a lot more challenging. It’s painful to think of all the people without the support of their families and their only option being to face the long road to recovery alone.

I will be running the great north run to raise money to provide these people with the support they need to recover just like my dad did.
