Manuel Camargo

BMW Berlin Marathon 2025 charity place

In September, I will honor my Mom by running Berlin Marathon 2025 as part of #TeamStroke

On Sunday, March 16, I completed by 7th consecutive LA Marathon and 11th marathon overall including Boston and Chicago, two of the six original World Marathon Majors.

My training now will focus on preparation for my third Major, the Berlin Marathon on September 21. I will run every step in memory of my mom, Frances Camargo, who we lost in 2016 due to a bilateral watershed stroke.

I have joined #TeamStroke to run the Berlin Marathon in 2025. Stroke is the second-leading cause of death worldwide. I will run Berlin with #TeamStroke and The Stroke Association, a UK-based non-profit that relies on donations to provide vital services to survivors, advocate for better stroke care, and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

I hope you will consider a contribution to #TeamStroke. Your support will help continue the incredible work of the Stroke Association and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by stroke.

Thank you for helping me honor my mom and support this vital cause.
