Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

Two of my grandparents both suffered strokes in the last few years, they both came through the other side very lucky but valued the support they had so much. The work done by charities like The Stroke Association is so important and is vital for getting people back to a normal life, even if it may never be the same as it was before.

Progress July 🌞

Thursday 16th Jul
It’s been a tough period keeping the miles up in this heat but I’m getting it done! 💪🏼 🌞

1,388km ran so far in 2026, each run being great for its own reason. Progress has been made in speed and distance and lessons have been learnt along the way.

I’m still so thankful for every opportunity to be able to go out and move each day, knowing I am building up to such an important event.

I’m nearly half way to my goal of £500 and appreciate every person who has taken the time and kindly donated to such an important cause 🤍

Progress 🏃‍♀️

Monday 1st Jun
I have just hit 1,000km ran this year. From Jan 1st - May 31st I have ran 1,003.7km! That’s 120 runs totalling 93hr 19mins! I’m 6 races into the year, another 4 to go (at the moment, I’m sure there will be another one booked at some point!)

Progress 🏃‍♀️

Sunday 15th Feb
I started running in August and built my way up to a 5k; fast forward a little to completing 2025 with a 5k, 10k and my first half under my belt!

I wanted to challenge myself in 2026 and commit myself to progress; being able to support and leave a positive mark in the process.

Thank you to my sponsors
