I'm taking part in the GetPRO Bath Half Marathon 2027 as part of #TeamStroke

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. As a family we know first-hand that a full recovery is not always possible and the effects can be permanently life-changing. The impact can, however, be reduced by specialised support, both for the patient and their carer.

By taking on this challenge (the last time I did this was something like 17 years ago!) with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
