TCS London Marathon 2027

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

Hi everyone,

I'm excited (and a little nervous!) to share that I'll be running the London Marathon in 2027 for the Stroke Association.

Many of you know that when I was 16, I suffered a stroke after taking the contraceptive pill, which caused a bleed on my brain. I was left paralysed down one side of my body and lost the ability to speak. Recovery was a long journey—I spent time in a wheelchair and had to learn how to walk and talk again.

Although I've come a long way, I still live with weakness down one side of my body. Most people don't notice it, but it's something I live with every day, and it will always be part of my life.

That's why running a marathon means so much to me. Going from being unable to walk to taking on 26.2 miles feels incredible, and I want to use this challenge to support a cause that is very close to my heart.

I know it might seem a little early to be asking for donations, but I have a fundraising target of £3,000 to reach by April 2027.
£750 - by Dec 26
£1500 - by Feb 27
£3000 - by April 27
The good news is that some incredibly kind people have already started donating, and I'm so grateful for every bit of support I've received so far.

If you're able to donate, no matter how much, it would mean the world to me. Every penny will help the Stroke Association continue supporting stroke survivors and their families, and it will help me get one step closer to both my fundraising goal and the start line.

Thank you for supporting me and for helping me turn one of the hardest experiences of my life into something positive.

Thank you so much.
