I'm running for #TeamStroke in the TCS London Marathon
In October 2024, my Dad suffered an unexpected and life-changing stroke. He was airlifted to hospital and underwent emergency surgery to remove a large clot from his brain - which was rare for someone just 48 years old, and a non-smoker. We were told he might never regain the abilities and mobility he once had. So that was a huge shock for all of us.
He faced months of further mini-strokes, intensive rehab, and hospital transfers but never gave up. He had to relearn how to speak, how to eat, and how to walk again.
That’s why my brother, Joel, and I are running the London Marathon together - to honour Dad’s journey and raise money and awareness for the Stroke Association.
Every donation will help fund life-saving research, vital rehabilitation, and support for stroke survivors and their families.
Thank you for your support. 💜
Good luck Josh! Love the Magna team x
