I'm running for #TeamStroke in the TCS London Marathon
My Dad suffered a life-changing stroke in October-24. He was airlifted to hospital and underwent emergency surgery to remove a large clot from his brain. He won’t be able to regain some of the abilities and mobility he once had.
He faced months of further mini-strokes, intensive rehab, and hospital transfers, as well as having to relearn how to speak, how to eat, and move around.
To honour Dad's journey, me and my brother will be running the London Marathon to raise money and awareness for the Stroke Association.
Every donation will help fund life-saving research, vital rehabilitation, and support for stroke survivors and their families.
