I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2025.
I have lost two uncles and a good family friend to strokes in the last year and a half, with the most recent two sadly passing away within days of each other in December 2024.
My paternal grandfather passed away in 1982 following two consecutive strokes within days of each other.
