I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2026.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Thursday 16th Apr I’m about to attempt the London Marathon again, this time with a twist.
Finish line
Saturday 5th Jul In 2024 I crossed the start line which was an amazing achievement after having 2 major strokes, unfortunately I didn’t make the Mall. Last year after a massive seizure (which they thought was another stroke) I had to pull out. I’ve always raised funds (10k and counting), I’m currently under investigation for further medical matters, but I’ll give a 100% and cross the start and finish line this time around, so keep the faith, stroke survivors can do amazing things.Thank you to my sponsors
