I’m proud to be taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2026 as part of #Teamstroke, raising money for Stroke UK and the incredible work they do.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, and around 100,000 strokes happen every year, one every 5 minutes. Stroke can change lives in an instant, and rebuilding life afterwards is a journey no one truly understands until they experience it themselves.

Stroke UK is there to support people every step of the way, helping survivors and their families to rebuild their lives.

I’m running in memory of my amazing grandparents, my granny, my best friend and my biggest supporter. This challenge is for them, and for everyone whose life has been affected by stroke.
