I joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2026.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

No survivor should have to face life after stroke without stroke support, providing consistent, tailored help on the long journey to recovery.

We work with the stroke community to ensure the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

I am doing this in memory of my Aunty Janet who unfortunately passed away in January 2025 after suffering from a stroke♥️

I will be beginning my official North Run training from tomorrow, I will keep everyone posted with my milestones.
