I'm taking part in the Brighton Marathon as part of #TeamStroke

I’m pleased to share that I’m taking part in the Brighton Marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association in April 2026. 

I’m doing it in memory of my Grandad Alan, who sadly suffered from strokes in his later years. He would always ask me, “So, when are you going to get fit?” regardless of how fit or unfit I actually was.

I’m therefore pretty sure he’d approve of me taking on this challenge for such a brilliant cause, even with my creaky knee.

I am hoping it goes slightly smoother than the Brighton Half Marathon where I took a tumble (photo above).
