I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
I'm running the TCS London Marathon 2026 for the Stroke Association 💜
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes. This year, I’m proud to be joining #TeamStroke and running the TCS London Marathon 2026 to help change those numbers and to support the incredible work the Stroke Association does every single day.

The reason I have chosen this charity is because last year, my gramp suffered a stroke. In those first few days, we feared the worst. It was an incredibly tough time for our family, but thanks to the amazing care and support he received, his recovery has been more positive than we ever could have hoped for.
My father-in-law also experienced a stroke and since then he has been living with the life-changing effects including multiple TIAs. Seeing the lasting impact of stroke on both of them has made me realise just how vital the Stroke Association’s work is.
As part of the stroke team, I’ve been set a fundraising target of £2,500. Every donation helps provide hope, support and better outcomes for those affected by stroke.
By supporting my fundraising, you’ll be helping the Stroke Association provide life-changing rehabilitation, campaign for better care, and fund groundbreaking research into prevention and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference to people like my grandad, John and thousands of others.
Please support me however you can.Â

Thank you 💜
