London Marathon 2026 – Running for my Papa 💜
Most people who know me know I lost my Dad when I was young, and my Papa stepped in as that father figure in my life.
In January last year, Papa had a major stroke. He lost feeling down one side and spent six months in hospital and rehab learning to move and speak again. During that time we also sadly lost my Gran, so it’s been a really tough year for our family.
The Stroke Association helped us when everything felt scary and uncertain, so I’m running the London Marathon to give something back and help other families get that same support.
Papa has always cheered me on in running and we watched London Marathon together in 2024 & he said I should do it, so this one’s for him 🙌
