I'm taking part in the GetPRO Bath Half Marathon 2027 as part of #TeamStroke

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke.

By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.

I’m taking on the challenge of running a half marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association, a cause that has become incredibly close to my heart after my granny recently suffered a stroke.

This is something that has affected my family deeply, and I want to do something positive to support the incredible work the Stroke Association does to help stroke survivors and their families.

The half marathon will be a big challenge, but knowing I’m running for my granny will give me the motivation to keep going, especially on the difficult days. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and my family.
