I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke
I’m proud to be taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 in London on 11 October as part of #TeamStroke, raising vital funds for Stroke Association.
I chose to support Stroke Association because I’ve sadly lost my uncle and both of my grandmothers to stroke, so this cause is incredibly close to my heart.
There are more than 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with around 100,000 strokes happening every year — that’s one stroke every five minutes.
Stroke Association supports people to rebuild their lives after stroke and works alongside the stroke community to ensure that everyone affected gets the very best care and support. Like many charities, they rely on the generosity of the public to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care, and fund research into prevention and rehabilitation.
