TCS London Marathon 2027

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

This is a cause that is very close to my heart. When I was 13 years old, my dad suffered a stroke, and I saw first-hand how dramatically it can change a person’s life and the lives of everyone around them.
The years that followed were filled with challenges, adjustments, and uncertainty. While the physical effects of a stroke can be life-changing, I learned that the emotional impact on both the survivor and their family can be just as significant. Watching my dad navigate those difficulties gave me a deep appreciation for the strength, resilience, and support needed throughout the recovery journey.
Sadly, my dad passed away in 2016 when I was 21 years old. Although many years have passed, the experience has stayed with me and continues to shape who I am today.
I am supporting this cause in his memory and to help raise awareness of the impact stroke has on individuals and families. Every donation will help provide vital support, research, and hope for those facing the challenges that stroke can bring.
