I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2026 as part of #TeamStroke

I’m running the Great North Run again in 2026, for my Nanna Liz, who is the strongest woman I know. I’ve joined #TeamStroke to raise funds to support stroke survivors 💜🤍💜

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

No survivor should have to face life after stroke without stroke support, providing consistent, tailored help on the long journey to recovery.

We work with the stroke community to ensure the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
