I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2026.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Why I’m Fundraising
Thursday 27th Nov I am fundraising for the Stroke Association for my Grandad. I have seen or spoken my grandad pretty much every single day of my whole life. He is one of my favourite people in the world and has shaped the person I am today. In June 2024, my grandad suffered from a large stroke after he had undergone a procedure on his heart, and since then his life has completely changed. He can no longer walk and we can no longer chat the way we used to, but he still manages to read his morning news paper every day and put a smile on all of our faces when we see him.Thank you to my sponsors
