I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
This September, I’ll be joining 59,999 other slightly bonkers people in the Great North Run. That’s 21.1km or 13.1 miles of sheer joy/torture, depending on how you look at it and who you ask.
I’m running for Stroke Association, a charity that means a lot to me and my family. Their work supports the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, helping them rebuild their lives, access vital care, and fund life-changing research. With 100,000 strokes happening every year (that’s one every five minutes), their work is mega important.
My fundraising target is £350, and I’d love your help getting there if you’ve got a spare quid or two lying around…
