I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025.

I chose to run for this charity as it is close to my heart. It would be a privilege to help raise money for research into strokes, providing the best care and rehabilitation. 

My grandad is a survivor of several strokes and is an inspiration to me. Although he has some life long symptoms of his strokes, he is able to live an independent life. This is all thanks to the support and care he was given. I would like to give back to the charity and to show my grandad how proud I am of him.

As a student physiotherapist, I have had the opportunity to help assist with stroke rehabilitation. It's a privilege to see the impact that the service has on helping people progress week by week. I have experienced and seen the impacts that all the different services have on patients and their families. I'm honoured to be able to raise money for this incredible charity and to help aid research and rehabilitation resources.
