TCS London Marathon 2027

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

My Grandad Peter Parker sadly passed away Friday 17th April 2026 after a long fight with Parkinsons.

Before this in January 1986 at the age of 44 he suffered a Stroke, with the strong mind and will power he had 2 and half years later he windsurfed the English Channel fundraising for this charity who helped him along after his stoke. Not only that he played his part in many other fundraisers for Stroke Association. One of which myself and Dad took part in, 3 generations completed the Thames Bridges Bike Ride in 2008.

So I plan to do the London Marathon 2027 in memory of my super hero Grandad Peter Leslie Parker 🕷️💙

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.

By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.

Every donation helps someone find strength through support at a time they need it most. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.
