I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2026 as part of #TeamStroke
Hi everyone!
I'm taking on the Great North Run and my first half marathon, and while I'm definitely excited, I'm also a little nervous! 🏃🏻♂️
I'm doing it to raise money for the Stroke Association which is a great charity & close to many of us & I'd be so grateful for any support you can give.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
Any donation you could make, no matter how big or small could help support with consistent, tailored help on the long journey to recovery.
As of the 1st July, I’ve ran over 280 miles in training with the help of my Auntie Jo & Dad 😊 and will keep going until the big day on the 13th September
