I'm taking part in the Chicago Marathon 2025 as part of #TeamStroke
I'm running the Chicago Marathon in memory of my Nana, who sadly passed away earlier this year after suffering a stroke. She meant the absolute world to me—she wasn’t just my Nan, she was my best friend, my biggest supporter, and someone who brought constant love and light into my life. Taking on this marathon, and hopefully the other 6 major marathons, is my way of honouring her memory and keeping her spirit with me every step of the way. I'm also using this journey to raise money for stroke research and support, in hopes of helping others and contributing to a cause that now holds a deeply personal place in my heart.
