My Cardiff Half Journey for #TeamStroke ❤️
Thursday 22nd OctI have officially signed up to run the Cardiff Half Marathon for the Stroke Association! I am taking on this challenge in memory of my beloved bampi, a hardworking man who spent his life working down the pits and later suffered a stroke. The stroke cruelly took away his speech and all the movement on his right side, and he never really recovered from it. But my amazing nan was right there by his side from start to finish. The pure love and devotion between them through it all was truly beautiful to see. ❤️I am also running to honour my amazing mother-in-law, who showed incredible strength and dedication helping her son after he suffered a stroke, thankfully helping him on his journey to recovery. 🌟They are all my ultimate inspiration. I know it's going to be a tough journey, but I'm sure they will give me the strength to get me through every single mile to that finish line. ✨⛏️My training is already well underway 🙈 I am raising vital funds for this incredible cause to support stroke survivors and their amazing carers across Wales. Any donation or help, no matter how small, would mean the absolute world to me and will keep me running through the cold winter training sessions! Thank you so much everyone for the support! 💪❤️
