I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamStroke

I joined #TeamStroke for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026.

Last year my grandma Helen suffered from a stroke which heavily impacted her quality of life, and whilst my lovely Grandpa Bill did not, we also lost him to heart complications earlier this year.

I want to help raise money for the vital research that goes into preventing strokes, and allowing families to hold onto loved ones for much longer.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
