I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2027 with #TeamStroke

So, I’ve decided to take on the Great North Run 2027 with my lovely friend Jemma

My dad had a stroke, so when we started talking about doing the Great North Run, raising money for the Stroke Association just felt right. Having seen what my dad has been through, it’s a charity that means a lot to me and one that I’d really like to support.

I’m looking forward to running through Newcastle, soaking up the atmosphere and hopefully enjoying every minute of it. And then celebrating with a champagne at the finish line with Jemma!
