I'm taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

I've joined #TeamStroke for the Cardiff Half Marathon 2027.

I am running in memory of my grandad who passed away from a stroke in 2012. This charity is really personal to myself and my family who have been affected deeply by this.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

No survivor should have to face life after stroke without stroke support, providing consistent, tailored help on the long journey to recovery.

We work with the stroke community to ensure the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
