I'm taking part in the Spin for Stroke challenge!
My dad had a stroke a few years ago and it was a frightening time for him. He worked his arse off to get better so he could still look after his grandchildren but it left him with other issues and turned out a number of undiagnosed issues had been building up, possibly contributing to his stroke(s - they think he had a few small ones too).
Be great to see other families supported and to have more research into stroke. Grateful if you can help me raise funds towards this.
Last time I cycled this far was before my ACL reconstruction so this will be a big challenge and probably involve a few ice baths and some complaining. I'll try to get pics of it all :)
