I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2026.
There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Our Story
Thursday 10th Jul In June 2022 my Dad suffered from a bleed on the brain that changed our lives forever. Later that year a clot was found on his lungs setting him back even further. In 2024 my Uncle suffered a bleed on the brain that was devastatingly fatal and my dad suffered another stroke with a clot in his brain. This chain of events set me up to challenge myself in the 24 hour national three peak challenge solo both hiking and driving. 3 days after completing this challenge my dad suffered a third stroke astounding the doctors as it was in the same place as the one earlier that year.
