I'm taking part in the Great North Run 2027 with #TeamStroke

I've joined #TeamStroke for the Great North Run 2027.

There are over 1.4 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.

My Grandad experienced 2 big strokes and 6 TIA's that had a huge impact on everyday life for him, and strokes have continued to affect our family which is why i am running the Great North Run 2027 for the stroke association.

No survivor should have to face life after stroke without stroke support, providing consistent, tailored help on the long journey to recovery.
