I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2027 with #TeamStroke

In April 2025, after my mum and sister made a massive achievement of finishing the London Marathon, my father unfortunately suffered a stroke. After suffering such a severe stroke, he has made an amazing recovery and has since walked the Fulham 10k. Seeing him accomplish such achievement and have such an amazing recovery, I ran the Bath Half marathon with my partner Lucy and have since raised over £1000 for such an amazing charity. Doing this London Marathon will be a huge challenge for me but it is one I am looking forward to attempting and crossing that finish line for such an amazing charity.

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. With strength, determination and the right support, recovery is possible.

By taking on this challenge with Team Stroke, I'll be fundraising to provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
