I'm taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon!
I have joined #TeamStroke for the Manchester Half Marathon on 15th October 2023.
I'm running for my Dad, who suffered a stroke on 31st July this year. Out of the blue his life has changed (hopefully only in the short term), but the long term effects of what has happened are currently unknown. Every penny I can raise will go to help people like my Dad and the families affected by stroke.
Stroke Association is here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Monday 11th Sep Two more runs last week, one 5km around Paris on 6/9 and one 10km on 7/9 Share

Monday 4th Sep Upped the distance a bit today and hit 11km’s so only another 10km’s to add. Slightly scared Share

Friday 1st Sep Another 10km done, feel much less prepared now it’s technically next month 😳 Share

Wednesday 30th Aug Run number 2 done, still feeling like there is a lot of work to do to be ready for a half in October Share
