Here we go! For some absolutely absurd reason, I’ve decided at 31 and physically falling apart, it would be a great idea to run 13.1 miles in the Great North Run. Anyone who knows me in a capacity will be well aware that I am not a fan of running, so 13 miles should be really fun!? 
I’m not going to go into any long-winded story, but 13 years ago I lost one of my grandparents after they had a stroke and as such I wanted to raise money for the Stroke Association. My aim is to get to £350, but as an added incentive if I can somehow break £1000 then I will do the GNR beardless!
Any support is greatly appreciated. I’ll probably post this a few more times and across different platforms, so please don’t get too annoyed if you see this a few times! Cheers.
