I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon as part of #TeamStroke
As you all know 12 months ago I ran my first ever half Marathon (the great north run) in memory of my amazing grandad for the stroke association 💜 now I am upping my game and taking things to the next level and running a full marathon in his memory! 😁
So for those of you that don't know we lost my wonderful grandad back in 2016 as a result of a stroke.....
Those of you that knew my grandad know he was the heart and soul of our family, such a positive, generous man that let absolutely nothing get him down.... and he was an absolute warrior- he honestly fought right to the end!
So I would be extremely grateful for any donation (big or small) to help me on my way to reaching my target of £2000! 🙏 I promise you I will be working really hard for this, and for my grandad 💜
I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2025.
There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
